Across the United States, communities are painting traffic signal control boxes to develop attractive, vibrant places that reflect the culture of the area and engage the community with the public environment. Muncie Arts & Culture Council brings this exciting and popular movement to our fair city with Box! Box!, a project to encourage bold designs and promote engagement and interaction between local artists and the wider community. Since 2018, 73 traffic signal control boxes throughout the city have been festooned with original works of art!
