Prairie Creek is Muncie’s largest park and recreational haven. The park offers a wide arrange of activities that include something for everyone to enjoy! Offering everything from fishing, boating, camping, beach swimming, water sports, hiking, ATV, biking, and horse trails.

Prairie Creek hosts several large outdoor events for the public to attend. One of the biggest events is the Annual Ron Bonham Day, held on the first weekend of July. This event offers a fantastic fireworks show, free entertainment, and prize giveaways!

Prairie Creek hosts some of the most well-known triathalons and races in the area! Every Fall, the area is host to the Ironman competition that brings spectators and athletes from around the world to Muncie. The area is also host to the America Multi-Sports Traithalons and a Viking Dash throughout the year.
