Happy Little Fest

$20Ball State PBS, the producing station of “The Joy of Painting” is happy to announce the return of Happy Little Fest – the annual celebration of “all things Bob Ross” – at the place the iconic painter called home for many years.
The fest includes:
“Happy Little Games” from 1-4PM, hourly. Channel your inner Bob and test how well you know your Bob Ross facts!
“Bob Ross for Kids” Painting Workshop at 1:30PM. Kids ages 6-13 will learn simple techniques to create their own Bob Ross-inspired masterpiece. Free with registration; limited to 12 kids.
“Look Like Bob” Contest at 2:30 PM. Come dressed as America’s favorite painter for the chance to win a fabulous prize and bragging rights!
“Paint Like Bob” The main event – from 3-6PM – is a painting workshop where you’ll learn Bob’s signature “wet-on-wet” technique from Chris Taylor and experience Certified Ross Instructors. No experience necessary. We provide the tools and paint, you take home the 16 x 20 canvas!
“See Where Bob Painted” from 1-4PM. Across the street in the Ball State PBS studies in the E.F. Ball Communication building, where The Joy of Painting was filmed, you’ll be able to chill out with Bob’s voice in our sensory studio and see 24 original Bob Ross paintings!
But wait… there’s more! The fest also includes food trucks, live music, the larger-than-life BOB-ble Head, Peapod the Squirrels, and lots of great photo ops!
PRICE: General/Adult tickets are $20, students are $10, and kids under 8 get in free. Adult (14+) workshop tickets will be $100.
